Funded Governance and Board Effectiveness Training for Managers, Boards and Committees of Community Sector and Not for Profit Organisations 

Our fresh and modern half-day program, now delivered to more than 5000 people, assists Managers and Members of Community Sector and Not for Profit Sector Boards and Committees better understand roles and responsibilities and improve strategic thinking, organisational leadership and competencies. Great programs for people new to these responsibilities and experienced people seeking to refresh their skills.

Due to funding available until 30 April 2018, the total cost for this training to be delivered on your site is only $1400 + GST per program (33% off normal rates). This is a genuine all inclusive fee, regardless of numbers attending or location, no extra for travel, no hidden costs, all training materials supplied, for a group of 10 this works out to only $140 per person.

Programs take around 3 hours to run and can be run on a date and time of your choice and we know how hard it is to get all the Board together on one day and so can also be run on a Saturday morning (eg 9am to 12pm) or a mid-week evening (eg 6-9pm) for no additional fee.

We have a large team of consultants, all of whom have worked as Senior Managers and served on Boards in the Community and Not for Profit Sectors, so agreeing to your date and time of choice is guaranteed.

During the program we will share techniques on:

  • Getting Governance Right – The Ten Principles;
  • Board Member Fundamentals;
  • Boards and Leadership;
  • Responsibilities and Staying on Top of Changes;
  • Organisational Sustainability;
  • Holding Effective Meetings;
  • Strategic Planning;
  • Monitoring Performance;
  •  Resilience and Staying Motivated;
  • Reaching the Next Level of Effectiveness

SUMMARY

  • Funding expires 30 April
  • Total cost until 30 April  $1400 + GST per program regardless of numbers attending or location
  • All Training Materials and Workbooks Supplied and Certificates of Completion Provided
  • Our Facilitators have all held hands-on management roles in the NFP Sector and all have served on Boards and Management Committees.
  • Educational and Entertaining programs based on current AICD, ACNC, ORIC and ASIC  research and the excellent 2015 book “Boards that Lead”
  • Any day or date of your choice including midweek, Saturday and evening sessions
