There are a number of Emergency Relief programs available on the Central Coast. These services help members of our community who need it most.
A community member based organisation whose priority is to help families on the Central Coast who may be struggling financially or find themselves in times of hardship or crisis. Care For The Coast works to draw the struggling family away from isolation and back into the community, promoting inclusion and the feeling of being ‘part of something’.
Care For The Coast collects new and preloved goods from the community and redistributes these to families at no cost. Items may include new and preloved toys and clothing, general groceries, toiletries and house hold items.

Provides direct help to people for the relief of poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, destitution or helplessness or necessitous circumstances. This assistance may include
- Provision of medical appliances or mobility aids
- Provision of financial assistance to undertake medical treatment
- Relieve distress for those in financial difficulty
Other services include provision of food, furniture and whitegoods and financial advisory services.

An organisation who are passionate about raising awareness on the housing issues in Australia. ShoeBox Revolution gather donations for those who currently find themselves without a home and need help.
The organisation encourages members of the community to get involved through a simple premise – grab an old shoe box and fill it with a few essentials that could help someone who is living on the street. The main items that are needed include non-perishable food items, toiletries and warmth.
A community program helping vulnerable mothers and children on the Central Coast. We Care receive donated new and pre-loved mother and child care & safety items, and give them, free-of-cost, to families in need as part of a package of support provided by community and welfare case workers.
We Care accept donations of pre-loved baby equipment, children’s clothing, nursery items, bed linen, maternity items and other essential items
For those who need help, Vinnies can provide essential household goods such as beds, lounges, dining tables and wardrobes
