Did you know? Child Restraint Training Days – The Central Coast – Palmdale
About
Transport for NSW, together with Kidsafe, will be offering 6 child restraint training sessions to employees and volunteers of community organisations that are required to transport children & utilise/install/remove child restraints.
These sessions will take place on the Central Coast (19 November), Maitland (26 November) and Newcastle/Lake Macquarie (27 November). The theory component will run for one hour and will incorporate the following information:
1. Laws for transporting children
2. Types and features of child car seats including ISOFIX
3. Common misuse issues
4. Use of AccessoriesFor the practical component, participants will install three types of child car seats:
1. Rear facing child car seat or capsule
2. Forward facing child car seat
3. Booster seatMorning or afternoon tea will be provided as well as a take home pack for each attendee.
