Thrifty Creations – Wyoming 

Join us in transforming second-hand thrift shop finds into fashionable or up-cycled pieces. We will explore thrift shops for treasures and get our craft on with like-minded peers.

There are no rules when it comes to fashion design and upcycling textiles this is an opportunity for creative expression through design whilst being guided by a facilitator to learn basic sewing machine skills. This group will focus on

Upcycling Fashion: Participants will learn the art of upcycling textiles and transforming second-hand items into fashionable pieces

Real-Life Shopping Experiences: Engage in hands-on shopping experiences, making purchases, and interacting with shop staff to select materials for their creations.

Sewing Skills: Learn essential sewing machine skills under the guidance of an experienced facilitator.

Creative expression: Express yourself creatively while using sustainable shopping practices and gaining valuable sewing skills.

RYSS Abilities Programs are social engagement and living skills-based programs open to young people aged 12 and over who are eligible for NDIS funding in a range of core and capacity-building areas.

We now operate our Abilities Groups out of two locations WYOMING & WYONG
