National Carers Week Grants are now open!

Carers NSW is pleased to announce the National Carers Week Grants are returning in 2025 thanks to ongoing funding from the NSW Government Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).

Applications are now open for carer support groups and organisations from across NSW to apply for grants of $200-$500. These grants celebrate and recognise the contribution of family and friend carers in their communities by holding local events and activities during National Carers Week held from 12 – 18 October 2025.

Applications can now be made online via the SmartyGrants portal, applications close 5pm, Monday 23 June 2025. If you have used SmartyGrants previously, you can log in with your existing details. New users will need to register for a free account before applying.
